GAMING HOUSE RAID
SEVERAL MEN FINED (Per Press Association.) WHANCARET, this day. As a sequel to a police raid on Saturday, William Martin, a tobacconist and hairdresser, was fined £SO and costs for allowing his premises to be used as a common gaming house. C. E, Moselen, L. A. Langmore, ■). Davidson, J, B. Gulley, and R. Hamilton were each fined 30s and costs 10s for being found on the premises. More cases are to be heard.
