ATTACKED BY CONVICT
GOVERNOR OF DARTMOOR LONDON, Dec. 3. Protesting against solitary confinement after a week’s escape from Dartmoor, a convict named Ainey demanded to see the governor, Pannall, whom he struck on the face, causing him to fall against a wall and necessitating treatment' and sick leave.
