GREAT POSSIBILITIES
SHORT-WAVE RADIO MARCONI’S EXPERIMENTS (Received December 5, 11 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 4. Lecturing in London, the Marchcse Marconi revealed that his recent shortwave radio experiments had resulted in communication over a distance of 168 miles on a 57 centimetres wave-length. He said the possibilities of ultra-short waves were immense, as they were unaffected by fog and gave a high degree of secrecy. He was considering their application to broadcasting and television.
