PLANE CRASHES
SQOADRAN LEADER McGREGOR HURT (Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., this day. Tuning the course of the Manawatu Aero Club’s pageant this afternoon, while a balloon bursting event was in progress, a Moth plane piloted by Squadron-Leader McGregor nose-dived into ftn adjoining paddock. The plane was wrecked, and Squadron-Leader McGregor taken to hospital suffering from head injuries. The pilot had been the instructor to the club for the last two months.
