STRUCK BY ENGINE
CHILD BADLY INJURED (Per I?ross Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. Grave injuries woro received by Nalda Francos Pcnk, eight, as the result of being struck by the engine of a mixed train at a level crossing at Church street, Te Papa, at about 5.30 o’clock last night. Tho child was crushed, and she also suffered a fracture of the left arm, lacerations to tho right arm and both legs, and severe shock. Her condition is very serious.
