YOUNG MAN’S AUDACITY
NEW YORK, Nov. 30,
A correctly-dressed young man twirled his cane and talked pleasantly with customers in a continental bank in Now York’s financial district. While the teller was momentarily absent, the visitor nimbly reached his cane into the cage, and with a .steelhooked, cud, snagged five Liberty bonds worth 100,000 dollars each and pavnble to the bearer. The theft was discovered within three minutes, but the handsome visitor had departed.
