MACKAY HARBOR
£1,000,000 SCHEME MELBOURNE, Nov. 34. The chairman of the Maekay ((j.) Harbor Board, Air. Alexander Crippen, said to-dav that a provisional agree ment had been made with the Tempera nee and General Mutual Lite Society for financing a scheme estimated to cost between £SOO,OOO and £1,000,000 for the construction of an outer harbor at Afackay. 'The terms are subject to the approval of the Queensland State Government. It. is expected that the work will provide employment for between 700 and 800 men for about five years.
