The object and purport of which by-law are as follows: Regulating the construction of buildings in relation to their resistance to earthquake shocks, and amendments to general by-laws in connection with street traffic, places of amusement, diseased dogs, Aerodrome, waterworks, and miscellaneous. The said resolution will be submitted for confirmation to an ordinary meeting of the Council to be held at the Council Chambers, Read’s Quay, Gisborne, on the 20th day of DECEMBER, 193*2, at 7.30 p.m. A copy of the proposed special order and by-law is 'deposited at the office of the Council where the same will lie open for public inspection during office hours until the said confirming meeting is held.
