NEW MEASURE OPPOSED STIFLING INVESTMENT (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Strong objection to tho Mortgagors and Tenants Further Relief Bill was voiced by the Chamber of Commerce council to-day, and it was decided to enlist the support of the Associated Chambers in urging the Government not to proceed further with it. A solicitor who outlined the provisions of the bill said the effect was most upsetting to all business, and people interestedMn mortgages did not know where 1 hey stood. Mortgage investment was at a" standstill.
