VOLUNTEERS INSULTED UNION PRESIDENT REMANDED rPw Press Association,l NEW PLYMOUTH, this day, “Waitara was an extremely unfortunate place in which to use the words,” said the magistrate, Mr. R. W. Tate, this morning, in fining Charles Te Wal £3 and costs 10s for using insulting words to free laborers on November 24. A charge of using insulting words in McLean steet, Waitara, was also made against Thomas Henry Emeus, president of the Waitara Freezing Works Employees’ Union. A remand was asked for till December 8,. and was granted.
