JEWELLER’S DEATH
GUNSHOT WOUND IN HEAD (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. i()n Cashmere Hills, Walter John Watson, a well-known city jeweller and optician, was found dead yesterday afternoon. There was a gunshot wound in the head and a shot gun was lying beside the body. At the inquest, it was stated that Watson had been in ill-health and depros,sedi for the past year, and had been for four .weeks .in hospital at Haiimer for a recuperative rest. He had left hospital to receive dental treatment, and was to have returned to Haunter to-day. The inquest was adjourned.
