ORIENT STEAM ACCOUNTS (Received Nov. 29, 2 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 23. The Orient -Steam ,Navigation Company shows a credit'balance for the year of £112,02(5. This has been transferred to the depreciation account, but is £107,184 short of the ’provision out of profits required by the articles of association.
Dividends on preference shares' are paid from the balance brought forward, leaving £7l,(Mil to be carried forward.
