Dr. Garth Stoneham, Gisborne, has been appointed a house surgeon at the Wellington J tos’pital. Mr. A. M. Locwentlial, president of the Australian Mutual Provident .Society’s federal field staff, who lias just completed a tour of New Zealand, has left Auckland on his return to Sydney.
Two young New Zealand pilots, Messrs. P. A. McWliannell, of Ihe Wellington Aero Club, and Mr. Bruce Hope, of tin 1 Canterbury Aero Club, are leaving Ibis week for England .with the intention of entering the Royal Air Force on short service commissions.
