NEW GUINEA SCENES
FILM PARTY AT WORK PORT MORESBY, Nov. 23. Messrs. J- B. Shackelford, Dromgold, and M. Ward, who are taking unusual moving pictures, are welcomed by the natives of Hanuabada and Elevala. For four days last week more than £7O was paid in cash to natives each day. About 150 natives and 20 canoes were hired, food being provided, and in the background were as many tiny boys and girls, .who were regaled with sweets at the end of the day. Villagers regard the proceedings with great enthusiasm. This week a wrecked vessel is to he utilised as the scene of operations. Later 400 natives and 80 canoes will he employed.
