RACING AT AUCKLAND (Per Press Association.) AIJCIyLAND. last night. Rain prior' to the commence me n't resulted in a small attendance at the Western Springs Speedway last evening, when the first broadsiding meeting of the season was held. The most prominent visiting rider, .Erie Eniigtou, world’s champion, was injured .on his first appearance, but the other visitors, “Tiger” Stevenson, W. Phillips, X. Key, R. Touscr, iui'd E. Gregory rode well, as did A. Mattson, Dominion champion. The state of the track resulted .in the times being fairly slow. Following are the results:— Teams race.—X. Key (B team) l, T.
