OPERATION PERFORMED

A message from Detroit says that Mr. Henry Ford was stricken suddenly with the ‘first serious illness in his £9 years. Mr. Ford underwent an emergency operation this evening for strangulated femoral hernia, and was reported to be ‘resting well” afterwards.
