In tho Hawke Cup trial match, between Poverty Bay and Waiapu, play was continued this afternoon m ideal conditions. Poverty Bay, with a lead of 98 on the first innings, was holding tho pitch at 3 o’clock with jBO runs on the board in their second innings, for tlie loss of seven wickets. Lockett and Eraser were batting.
