EAST COAST ROUTE After a trip up the East Coast, Mr. H.‘C. Campbell, a Dunedin business map, has returned convinced that a public demand exists for the reinstitu.ainn of the coastwise passenger service ! qjltween Auckland and Dunedin, so popular years ago. ' As president of the Otago Importers and Shipper’s Association, Mr Camp bell intends to initiate at the next ; meeting of the association an agitation for the resumption of the service. He made his suggestion to Mr Wheller, general mangnger of the Union Company, who asked for Jiis opinion as an outsider. He told Mr Wheeler .that if the service were instituted, at least for the summer months, excellent patronage, •would be accorded it.
