LONE GOLDMINER
FOUND DEAD IN WHAR3
(Pur Press Association.) BLENHEIM, this day. A lone goldminer, Ernest- McKenzie, about 60, was found lying dead on the floor oi his wl.arc on the west bank of the Wakamarma River about a mile away from Canvastown. Deceased had a small claim'and was sinking a shaft. He lived alone in a rough wliare, and was seen only at irregular intervals The body was found on the floor, limy clothed. ‘ There were no signs of a struggle. Medical opinion was that death" was due to natural causes.
