SCHOOLBOY’S DEATH
DROWNED IN A POOL (Per Press Association.) HAMILTON, this day. Athol Pooley, seven, who, went bathing with two companions alter leaving school yesterday, was drowned in a pool near where Wainui creek joins Raglan harbor. The boy became separated from his companions, who ran for assistance. A Maori working nearby swain out and recovered the body. Artificial respiration was unsuccessful. The deceased was the third son of Mr. James Pooley, of Raglan.
