The theft of a quantity! of jewellery, valued at £2BO, and £4 in money was carried out in premises occupied by Mr. P. A. Richards. Dominion road, Auckland. Mr. Richards owns a pork butcher’s shop, and there are dwelling rooms above the shop premises.

From Opotiki they walked to Matavvai, which took them three days and proved a very trying time for them. From Matawai they proceeded to Gisborne, and ''here they were fortunate in getting their first job from Air. lb C. Fisken.
