Mangold Feeding
MENTIONING that dairy farmers hi the South Wairarapa were going in largely for mangold growing this season as a supplementary fodder for cows, Mr. T. 11. Hankin, Government veterinary officer, in an address to farmers at Morison’s Bush, warned them that unless fed judiciously to cows, mangolds wore responsible for giving the animals indigestion, which ailment was responsible for most Double in dairy herds.
