The English cricketers had an enthusiastic reception on their arrival at Sydney ymsterday. There was a tremendous crush at the city' station and the players had great difficulty in threading their wav through the crowd. Pataudi declined to give any reason for his decision not to accompany the Marylebone team to New Zealand at the end of the Australian tour. THE 1934 TESTS M.C..C. FIXES DATES (Received November 25, 11 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 24. The JVf.C.C. board of control has fixed the tests for the Australians’ 1934 tour as follows : At Nottingham, June 8 to 12. At Lord’s, June 22 to 26. At Manchester, July 6 to 10. At Leeds, July 20 to 24. At tho Oval, August 18 to 22 The final test at the Oval will be played to a finish if neither side has previously won two, or the results are equal.
