THE CAPE TO ENGLAND
SMITH IN EUROPE

The 19-year-old South African airman, Victor Smith, who. after being missing for some days, has now continued his Capetown to England flight, left Oran before daybreak to-day, and soon after noon landed at Perpignan, in the Pyrenees. Later, the Air Ministry received news that he had reached Avignon. FORCED DOWN IN KENT (Received November 26, 11 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 24.
The airmail, Victor Smith, made a forced landing at Ashford, in Kent, but was not hurt
