IMPRESSIVE CEREMONY
MASONIC GRAND LODGE INSTALLATION OF MASTER (Por Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. The annual communication of the Masonic Grand Lodge of New Zealand took place yesterday. There was a large attendance of representatives from every part of the Dominion. The Governor-General (Lord Bledisloe) was re-elected and installed as Grand Master, his proposer being Bro. M. Thompson, P.C.M.. who paid a warm tribute to the service rendered to Freemasonry and to New Zealand by four representatives of the King—Lord Plunket, Lord Jellicoe, Mir Charles Fergusson, and Lord Bledisloe. Lord Bledisloe having acknowledged the. honor of his re-election to the highest Masonic office, Bro. S. A. Allen, of Matamata, was appointed pro-Grand Master. A long list of further elective officers was submitted and approved. Bro. A. Burns, jun., was appointed Grand Registrar. The next annual communication will be licld in Dunedin. The installation of Lord Bledisloe took place in the Town Hall at night before an attendance of £SOO, the ceremony being an impressive one.
