CYCLING ON FOOTBRIDGE
(To tho Editor of tho Herald.) Sir, —T think it is about timo some action was taken to stop cyclists riding over tho footbridge at tho Botanical thirdons. This is not only a breach of the by-laws, but is also a very serious menace to others (especially children) using the bridge. Two out of every three cyclists using this bridge ride over it, ignoring the notices warning them against so doing, not even dismounting when meeting pedestrians. We will wait until a serious accident occurs, and then everybody will be up in arms as to why this menace was allowed to continue. Whoever is responsible should act up to tho notices they have posted up and stamp this danger out at once.— Yours, etc., PREVENTION OR AMBULANCE I
