HINKLER HONOR
AIR PILOTS’ AWARD
LONDON, Nov. 4
In recognition of his solo flight over tho Atlantic from Brazil to West Africa, as well as for other achievements, the Guild of Air Pilots Ims awarded to Bert Hinkler the Johnston Memorial Prize.
In 1931, it was awarded to Captain Chichester for his flight from Sydney to Japan.
