London.—Nov. 23: Arrived, at Colon, lonic. Sailed, I’assat, from JMalie. Groping her way through smoke a woman saved her four children when an eight-roomed, two-storeyed house, on the Warkworth-Kaipara Flats road, was destroyed by fire on Tuesday evening. When the fire broke out Mrs. R. F. Ellis rushed to the nursery and managed to get her four children out of the building. The flames spread quickly, and excepting a piano and a little furniture on the lower floor nothing could be saved.
