"Old Bill.” who in private life is Mr. William Bushy, and whom the artist, Bruce Bairnsfather, used as his inodol after the war owing to his resemblance to his war-time creation, laid his five medals, on the . (South African war memorial at Leicester to-day. Mr. Busby says he feels that the country has not fulfilled its duty to the ex-servicemen. He therefore registered “this humble protest.”
