GISBORNE SHOW EXHIBIT Spectators will staud entranced at the skilful work and flying fingers of the Wonder Glass Blower at the Gis-borne-Show. This master of a strangely [fascinating art has just returned to his native land, after a world tour of four years. ‘ While in Africa he toured by motor caravan for 30,000 miles into the heart- of the continent, where the caravan was attacked by a pack of wild dogs early one morning, and a lion, wafi shot as lie made a leap for .the natiy' gup bearer who was travelling with the party. Indeed, to hetar the strange experiences and narirpw escapes from wild beats is amazing. . Show visitors will have the opportunity of seeing.this talented iNeyv; Zealander manufacture articles of all descriptions from red-hot glass jn full view of the audience. A anodcl of • the Sydney Ilai'bor Bridge, entirely of glass, and almost Bft. in length, apd a huly’s evening dress, also made of glass, and flexible, are two examples, of this glass-blower’s art. This., is an educational and highly entertaining demonstration.
