PATEA SHOOTING
YOUNG MAN ARRESTED ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGE (Ter Press Association.) HAWERA, this day. As a sequel to the alleged shooting affray at Patea on Thursday, when William' Carradus was wounded in the leg by. an unseen, assailant, Alexander Myles, 26, was arrested on Saturday and appeared in the Patea court this morning on a charge of attempted murder. The accused was remanded to appear at Wanganui on November 21.
