PROPOSED ‘TOURIST CURRENCY’ PARIS, Aug. 25. A special tourist currency accept, able in all countries of Europe, js among a number of suggestipns tist have been made to stimulate the habit of travelling. It is realised that many of the restrictions imposed by'Euro* pean Governments in the last few months are tending to cause holidaymakers to stay at home. Arrangements are consequently being made to hold a European f ‘ touring” conference at Nice in January, in the hope of removing some of the obstacles to travel.
