BROWNING DEFEATS LURICH SYDNEY, Oct. 22. , After 12 months’ supremacy in the wrestling ring, Lurich was defeated at Leichhardt by Walter Browning on points, each man securing one fall, before a record crowd, who acclaimed Browning, while Lurich took his defeat badly and shaped threateningly at the referee. Browning appeared ready to settle the argument by force, but the intrusion of officials prevented a brawl developing.
