The Premiers’ Conference and tlio Loan Council meeting open in Melbourne this afternoon, The main business is to arrange for the necessary funds to provide for the works programmes of. the various Governments and for assistance in some form to the wheat industry, and possibly the wool industry, and to discuss the possibility of funding a. portion of the floating debt’.
