ASSAULT ALLEGED
AUCKLAND WOMAN’S STORY (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Raymond Leslie Borehain, 28, a carpenter, was remanded to-day on a charge of assaulting a woman so as to cause actual bodily harm. Bail was refused. This charge follows an assault on Mrs. Ethel Mortcriseii, 40, proprietress of a tea shop in Bymorids street, late on Saturday afternoon. She alleges that she was struck on the head with a. lemonade bottle by a mail who was later seen by a. neighbor climbing over a fence ami disappeared. .The arrest of the suspect, jiorehum, was made yesterday.
