'"The Agricultural Club movement as yet is only in its infancy in New Zealand, but since its inception significant success has been achieved in that peach year new dubs are formed, with* a marked increase in membership and reasonable support from the community," stated -Mi-. J. H, Heed in an address to the council of the Invercargill Chamber of Commerce. "It is only a question of time before there will be a complete chain of young farmers’ clubs throughout the Dominion. In the season Irwhieh has just closed, iu the Otago %nd Southland district alone, some 1200 boys and girls have taken pint in the movement, each participating in either crop-growing, calf-rearing, pigbreeding, or fruit and vegetable preserving. ’ ’
