WAIKOHU ASSOCIATION MATCHES FOR NEXT WEEK The Waikohu Boxing Association, revived through the energy of a number of residents of the township of lo Karaka with assistance from county settlers, lias been fortunate in, enlisting assistance from the Hawke’s Bay association, which will send a team of amateur boxers to the Waikohu tournament next week, under the charge of Mr. J. Strickland, of Hastings, secretary of tho Hawke’s Bay association. Mr. Strickland, ho has had a good deal of experience, will act as referee for all bouts, including the professional match between Joe Franklin and J.
