Tho Caulfield Cup candidates, Admiral Drake, ..Lancegay, and Talkie, competed in the Beaconsfield Handicap at Moonee Valley to-day. All were disappointing. Admiral Drake was a bad last. E. Badger, who has been engaged to ride Lancegay in the Cup, had a fall with Gracwin to-day, and is not likely to ride on Saturday. GOLD MAG SOLD AMMON RA A “BLEEDER’» SYDNEY, Oct. 12. Ammon Ra has turned into a. “bleeder.” He is returning to Sydney, and will be sent home to New Zealand, where, it is hoped, he will recover.
Gold Mag has been sold to A. . Blair, owner of Chatham.
