A. CHANGE OF ATTITUDE BRISBANE, Oct. 7. 'The Government was placed in an awkward'situation in the Legislative Assembly when the Opposition moved an amendment to the Unemployment Relief Tax Bill to exempt incomes up to £lO4 a year. Two years ago, when the Government was in Opposition, it moved precisely the same amendment, but on this occasion it changed its attitude and the amendment was defeated.
