THE BOARD’S ATTITUDE INTERESTING FIGURES (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, last night. Replying to a statement made yesterday to the. secretary of the Hospital Board, condemning the Unemployment Board’s administration of the rations scheme, Mr. R. T. Bailey, head of the Christchurch branch of the Tabor Department. denies that the Unemployment, Board lias neglected to scab advice from hospital boards. He states that his officers here have sought, and have obtained vain aide advico from the officers of the Hospital Board. “Tt is only natural that the Unemployment Board’s methods will he criticised when people who have been receiving rations from the Hospital Board are refused bv the department.” said Dir. Bailey. ‘‘A few cases mav ho of interest to Hospital Board members and to those who are paying tho unemployment tax. All these cases had been receiving rations from the nosnita, Board.
