REPRESSIVE MEASURES TROOPS FOR CHITTAGONG (Received Dee. 2, 11 a.m.) ■CALCUTTA, Dec. 1. To assist the police in the tusk of cleaning up '(lie district, half the troops, Mahrattas and Gurkhas, as wall its armed police,’ have been transferred to Chittagong, the- scone of the great armoury raid 18 -months ago, and which has since been tho seat of the anarchist movement.
It is hoped that the general public, who have been terrorised into secret- tolerance of anarchist activi ties, will co-operate.
