WELLINGTON SESSIONS MURDER CASE FOR TRIAL. ■ (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Five cases, including that .in which George Errol Coats is charged with the murder Qf the girl Phyllis Avis Symons, were presented for consideration of . the j grand jury when the criminal sessions *j of the Supremo Court opened to-day before Mr. Justice MacGregor. True bills * were returned in each instance. In addressing, the grand jury, His Honor remarked that there were . not many cases for this, .the final criminal sittings of the year, but. he was bound to say that the. cases, few as they were, would take soma time.to fry, .more especially the indictment against Coats. The cases include one of alleged' arson by a farmer, and also- an • alleged conspiracy to defraud 'bookmakers. DUNEDIN SESSION OPENS (Per Press Asaopiation.) v . DUNEDIN, this Say. -.The quarterly criminal sitting of. the Supreme Court opened with . three charges against three men. Samuel James Douglas pleaded guiltjf to indecently assaulting a girl, and was- remanded. for sentence. Other chargee are theft of a bicycle against a policeman, and indecent assault on males against an ex-schoolmaster. • ■
