LABORER BARONET
COAL MINER IN SHROPSHIRE LONDON, Sept. 19. Sir Charles Burnett Buckworth-Horne-Soamo, who succeeded to an ancient baronetcy when his father died recently, is working as a general laborer. He is 37 years of ago, and he and his wife are living in a small cottage at Coalbroolcdale, Shropshire. Sir Charles has worked on a slag heap and has helped ,to make .roads, but he lias never revealed to bis workmates that he was tho heir to the baronetcy. 1-Ie stated, in an interview, that he had given up his job temporarily in order to settle affairs resulting from his father’s death. “I married after I came out of the army,” ho added, "and my wife is a Coaibrookdale girl. I met her, first at her father’s house. She does our house work. We live quietly in a cottage in tho village. I have been lucky enough to have had fairly steady employment as a general laborer, and I have been quite happy iu my job at tho slag heap at Coalport, which is not far away. “I do not know whether my father’s death will change my financial position in any way. I have a IDs war disability pension which is a great help to us.” The late) Sir Charles was tho tenth baronet.
