The subject of over-run in butter was referred to at. the annual meeting of tlm New Zealand Dairy Factory Managers’ Association in Wellington by Mi. W. 'Were. Hawko’s Bay, whoso address led to a discussion and proposals that legislation should dm sought limiting the amount of o-ver-run. Mr. Were expressed the view that high overrunning should be avoided, or it would moan revising prices paid to farmers. The conference, decided to urge the Minister of Agriculture immediately to take steps to get legislation passed to limit home-separated cream butter factories to a reasonable over-run, this to be determined by the Dairy Division.
