LABOR PARTY TACTICS FLEET INCIDENT RECALLED LONDON, Oct. 25. Most people had preferred to forget the fleet incidents at Invergordon, but the co-opcrativo societies have issued a news sheet to help Laborites in which is printed a picture of a battleship, flanked by photos of the exKaiser and Mr. Montagu Norman, the Governor of the Bank of England, with tho caption, “The Navy at Jutland, which, in 1914, beat the Ivaiser, and at Invergordon, in 1931, beat Norman. ’ ’ The Evening Standard diarist says: “Does this meet with the approval of Mr. Alexander, the ex-First Lord of tlio Admiralty, who is also one of tho pillars of the co-operative movement?” The Daily Express describes .it as the most disgraceful act of the election and declares that the whole nation will be roused to anger by this insolent and seditious libel.
