Referring to what now appears to be Hie loss of t.lie motor-ship Kotiti, Mr H. D. Bennett, of Wellington, said that while lie was not superst'tious, he could not understand why the little craft should have been burdened with such a name, , hr the Maori meaning of it was “to go astray” or "to balk.”
