Before security is possible, hidden stores of arms and ammunition must be emptied. ~ •• . Weapons fire being given up, in small numbers, but it is hoped, that there will bo a wholesale suVrender during the week-end, failing which the Government will act vigorously.. . ... A meeting of delegates representing the entire Free (State requested the papal nuncio to convene a conference of the hierarchy, various political associations, and banned organisations regarding tho Constitution Amendment Act. The papal nuncio replied that- he could not intervene m internal .politics.
