GOODS FOR CANADA
AUSTRALIAN CARGO “GOODWILL” SHIP’S VISIT MONTREAL, Oct, 22. The arrival to-morrow of the Canadian Constructor has centred interest on the possibility of the re-export of Australian butter to tho United States. Considerable shipments of Canadian butter were recently sent across the border, and butter dealers in New York and Philadelphia have been milking inquiries concerning further imports, which are profitable despite the 13 cent tariff due to the depreciation of the Canadian dollar. A banquet is to be given here to-mor-row night by various trade bodies to tho Australian trade officials in connection with the arrival of the “Goodwill’-’ ship.
