Last years Show patrons praised the association’s new grounds. They should be pleased again this year with the progress that has been made since then. A great deal of'levelling has been done, and this area is now covered with a good thick sward. On this portion, farmers will find a great deal of interest ;in the Agrioultural department’s demonstration plot. The natural terrace around the ring should give the public ample opportunity to witness all'that is going on therein. A new departure will be the provision of space for cars containing elderly or .invalid' persons, who will lie able to watch tile, events from tlicir conveyances. A slot telephone is to lie provided on the ground lor the use of patrons. Little alteration will be noticed in the 'sheep', and cattle' pavilions, which were "completed and in use at the last Show.
