REIGN OF THE HORSE
RIDE TO PARLIAMENT IN SADDLE BRISBANE, October 15. The Minister of Railways, Mr. Godfrey Morgan, rode to Parliament House On horseback to-day under the eyes of fin astounded crowd. In George‘ street many people stopped to watch the unusual scene, and a constable on point duty in Queen street gave immediate right of way. At Parliament. House several photographers were awaiting the .Minister, who was lustily cheered by his colleagues. The Premier, Mr. Moore, smilirlgly inquired if Mr. . Morgan was trying to sell the horse. The Minster’s object in riding to tho House is to popularise the horse.
